Arrive in Texas on October 28. Catch up on sleep. Get a hitch put on my car and rent a small u-haul trailer, leave Paco with his grandparents. Load stuff that we left behind in the barn in Leander when I moved to Hawai'i. Leave Leander Saturday morning (31st). Hang out with some old friends in Brenham Saturday night. Drive to Huntsville and stay in a hotel Saturday night. Go to church in Huntsville Sunday morning. Have lunch with Huntsville friends Sunday. Drive to Streetman Sunday afternoon and visit with Debbie and Paul. Drive to Rockwall Sunday night and stay the night with Jimmy and Cynthia. Drive to Mt. Vernon Monday morning and visit with Don and Sue. Stay the night. Drive through Louisiana on our way to Mobile, Alabama Tuesday. Stay with Joey and Callie Tuesday night. Drive to Ft. Gordon Wednesday.
I have to take my car to the port this Monday so it can leave the island on Friday, the 2nd. The reality that we're moving is setting in.
