Sonic drinks and the variety of restaurants in general

Wild mammals (other than the mongoose and ferrel cats)
Insects besides cockroaches and ants
People driving 5 miles per hour over the posted speed limit instead of 5 miles under
brown dirt that washes out of my clothes and off my floors
starting a garden (if I buy a house)
Things I'm not so much looking forward to:
more extreme weather (relative to Hawai'i)
Snakes (Oahu does not have any)
The need for Air Conditioning (I'm for keeping the windows open and letting all of the perfumes out)
Confederate flag wavers (you know the type I mean)
